I came across Blue Nile online and started out as a seasonal employee in our fulfillment center on my birthday in 2009 and moved into a full time position from there. We've brought in the right people and everyone works well together. Since we have a smaller tech group we get direct access to each other as well as other teams. We definitely have a good direction as developers.
I've had the privilege of working with two great teams at Blue Nile, Customer Service and QA with our fulfillment center. It's the people I work with that has always been one of the parts I like most about working here. We pull together to make magic happen for our customers by finding that right diamond or ring to celebrate their milestone moments. As the Customer Service trainer, it is really fun to see that ‘light turn' on in our employees as they get really excited for something as simple and yet complex as a diamond.
