I think that these earrings are absolutely beautiful. They are a lovely pale green, which I read is the color of a true green quartz. I had read some reviews before I purchased these earrings and people said that they were a lot paler than they thought. The color that I saw online and the color that I got were very true--I was not expecting something greener. For those who aren't sure how large 8mm is on your ear, it's actually rather big. If I were to compare it to carats I would say about 2 ct. The reason why I only gave these earrings four stars opposed to five is because when I received my earrings one of the silver posts was slightly bent.

I love the earrings. They are well made and comfortable, but the color is not what I expected. It was much lighter than I thought it would be. I would have ordered a different color, either the blue or the purple.

They were not as green as I had hoped. They look almost clear. I also thought they were too big. I think I would like them better if they were 5 or 6mm. They are for my daughter, so I will let her decide whether to keep them or not. And I still LOVE Blue Nile!

I was looking for a more cost effective pruchase in comparison to the Tiffany Sparklers in praseolite that sell for $550.00. This was a great purchase, looks beautiful, and is cut very well. I have gotten an engagement ring in the past and was very impressed with that purchase as well.
