Though this ring was purchased via the internet basically sight unseen, internet picture only, I was 100% satisfied once I received it. On Christmas morning I am not sure if the sparkle I was observing was from the ring or my wife when she opened the ring box. Thank you Blue Nile for making this a special Christmas.

We picked out the ring together and are so pleased with the results. This setting is gorgeous. We wanted a setting that wouldn't distract from the center diamond but had additional diamonds on the sides. This setting does just that, it enhances the center diamond. I have gotten so many compliments on this ring. The band is a little wide and I may need to get it adjusted to fit with a wedding band. Blue Nile was such a pleasure to work with and made our decision an easy one.

I proposed to my fiance with this ring and she loved it. The diamond that I chose with it really sparkles in the light very well. I see her looking at it all the time.

Overall - she loved it! It's a really beautiful ring and does an amazing job of reflecting the light. And we couldn't have reproduced this ring at a jewelry store for the price we paid at Blue Nile. That being said, we're going to do about 400 dollars worth of customizing at the jeweler to take it from beautiful to wearable. The band is pretty thick, and hurts her fingers a little. We're also going to add two more small diamonds to the band on each side because right now they're spaced a bit further apart than would be ideal (they'll show dirt or tarnish once the white gold plating starts to fade due to the space in between the stones).

I looked a long time for a set to replace my 30 year old wedding rings. At first it was a little overwhelming choosing the diamond and then the ring, but I'm glad that I did. I literally gasped when I opened the box because it was so beautiful. Having 2 side diamonds really enhances the center stone, and the diamonds on the side just make the ring sparkle. It looks wonderful with the matching wedding band.
