the two earrings did not match up in quality or appearance.They were received with two different backings and looks like they were from two different pairs of earings.Although the ratings provided by Blue Nile indicated thsy should. I returned the earings for a refund

I was disillusioned with the glitter and sparkle of Princess cut stud. I realized Round cut, though costlier must be the only option, Hence i have returned the Princess cut and placed an order for Round diamonds. I am expecting the delivery on 18th Sept. If satisfied I will place another order. I do not undermine the quality of the stones.

This was my first purchase of diamond (of any kind ever). I am very satisfied with purchase experience from Blue Nile. Though, one advise I like to give to others is keep in mind that the glossy image presented on the site is not to scale. I recommend that you check the actual size on the scale map. This was meant to be a surprise for my wife, so I did not involve anyone and focused on top of the line clarity, excellent cut, etc and chose a pair of earrings with .51 carat each. I received the package exactly as scheduled. When I opened the box, the first thing I noticed was how small it appeared in reality. My bad, next time I will check the actual size before committing to a purchase. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase from Blue Nile, but should have order slightly bigger size !

Diamonds sparkle beautifully. My jeweler could not beat or even match the price. I also loved "pick your own diamonds" feature, very well done, huge inventory, lots of options to choose from, if you know a bit about diamonds, like for instance depth of the diamond. With regular jewelers you won't usually get to go into such a details. Customer service was exceptional - had a little problem with one of the backings of the earring been loose. Definitely will buy from Blue Nile again.
