The quality, finish and appearance are all amazing. As far as the design, I like the princes cut diamonds, and they are placed perfectly on the band giving it a very flush and clean appearance. The diamonds give the band a nice sparkle, but aren't so overbearing that it steals attention from the main diamond.

My girlfriend loved it. The channel set was even more delicate than I expected and was the perfect ring for her. It arrived so shiny and perfect, I was afraid to touch it before I gave it to her.

Based on all the reviews I saw on each ring, I had high expectations. Blue Nile did not disappoint. The engagement ring I received was exceptional. Perhaps it is the cut and clarity that I purchased, or just the fine polishing job done before shipment, but the ring is sooooo sparkly and beautiful. I will be shopping at Blue Nile in the future when I look for the matching wedding band.

I found the website design to be exceptional. This was the main selling point for me, as I don't like speaking with salesmen. It was easy to search for diamonds and hard to pick one out due to so many choices. There were a good amount of settings to choose from also, but fewer than some other vendors. The ring was shipped on time, and the return process was quick: about 10 days from door to door for a resize. We were both happy with the ring design, and .81 carat diamond was plenty big enough to look good in the setting. It is a great looking ring. I would recommend shopping at Blue Nile to anyone looking for a ring.

This ring was perfect. She is petite and this ring looks great on her - anything larger would be gaudy. It's a beautiful ring and I found the exact same style in white gold in a local jewelry store for more than twice the price. Oh, and she liked it so much she said yes!
