Hen I received my ring , which I had purchased a 3 carat Asscher cut diamond, the setting was much too small for the diamond it did not have the wow factor I was looking for. I wish Blue Nile had bigger settings that would have looked really nice with my diamond. I'm keeping my diamond and going to buy a setting for it. Blue Nile was a really good experience , except I wish I would have the whole ring and setting done. It was very difficult to send something back that valuable . I believe it is really difficult to see the actual size of a setting online.

I spent 5 years looking and planning for this purchase for a 25th anniversary; the design is excellent as is the execution; this purchase, along with Blue Nile's 1.52 C emerald cut diamond was a stunner and my wife was thrilled. I went to numerous other sites and stores, and Blue Nile has the selection and quality, excellent customer service, and went the distance to have the ring shipped via a friend's house. Yes, it is mentally challenging spending the amount I did and not being able to see the product prior to purchase, but Blue Nile's web site allows the purchaser to really 'dial in' what characteristics are important in both the diamond and setting, and then focusing on those items. The artist's renderings of the ring on a finger helped a good deal too. I would most definitely purchase from Blue Nile without hesitation.

I have been in the retail business for a long time and the customer service at Blue Nile is truely exceptional. Everyone I talked to during the process was both kind and very informative.
