30-Day Return Policy

Our commitment to you does not end at delivery. Items may be returned or exchanged within 30 days from when they were shipped, no questions asked.

Extended Christmas Return Policy

To ensure your recipients will love your gifts, orders dispatched from Blue Nile starting November 15, 2017 are eligible for an extended Christmas return policy and can be returned to Blue Nile through January 15, 2018. Our normal 30-day return policy will resume December 15, 2017.

Cancelled Orders & Returns

To return your purchase to Blue Nile, call 00800-2583-6453 from Luxembourg, 0800 098 8541 from the United Kingdom, or 00353 1 899 1351 for all other EU countries to speak with a Diamond and Jewellery Consultant. You will receive a Return Authorisation Code as well as detailed instructions for returning your order.

Important considerations:

  • Return all the original packaging. You may be liable for the replacement cost of the packaging and collateral material. For example, the diamond certificate is unique and carries a price EUR 150 replacement fee.
  • Your Commercial Invoice will be provided to you in draft form by one of our Diamond and Jewellery Consultants. Please complete and make three copies to expedite processing of your shipment with an international carrier.
  • Address your package. You will receive the address of a special destination for returns. For security reasons, do not write Blue Nile anywhere on the outside of the box.
  • Call before returning items. Any unauthorised, improperly packaged, or non-insured packages will be returned to sender. Items that have been damaged in any way cannot be accepted for return.

Once we receive your returned item and it is accepted, your refund or new item will be processed in just a few days. Upon receiving your return, the item will be reviewed by our Quality Assurance department. Please note that items showing signs of wear, altered, resized (by a jeweller other than Blue Nile), or damaged in any way cannot be accepted for return. Returns with no Blue Nile return code, and packages that are improperly packaged or uninsured will be refused.

Note: Blue Nile will not be responsible for loss or damage of return shipments. We cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer as a result of late delivery or cancellation of your order.
