I scoured shops in London and online for months and finally went with the purchase from Blue Nile. 1ct cushion cut diamond astor cut. Must say I was very impressed by the sparkle on the diamond. Looks great in natural and artificial light. Ring is great, not too big, nor too small although looks larger on the pictures so don't be put off by that.
