I purchased my fiancee's engagement ring from Blue Nile, however she insisted that we go to a jewelery store for her wedding ring. After several tries she got discouraged and gave up. I called Blue Nile and talked with a representative that recommended this band as the matching set to the tapered catherdral band. I bought it without consulting her and when it came in the mail she opened it and her response was "its perfect".

My finance bought my engagement ring on your website, so I ordered this wedding band to match my engagement ring, but unfornately it did not. I have a 2.5mm engagement ring, so I thought this band would perfectly match, but the height of the wedding band was thicker than the engagement ring and they looked not good side by side on my finger. I also tried the 2mm ring to see if that height was slightly smaller and would fit better, but the height of this ring was much smaller. Thanks very much for your excellent customer service that enabled me easily to exchange and return these rings that did not work for me.

First, this is not being worn as a wedding band, so some shoppers may have different concerns about how it may work with an engagement ring. For someone who, like me, just wanted a simple gold band, this one is very comfortable, and as yet bears no scratches, which says quite a bit since I work with my hands a lot. Just what I expected.
