The comfort fit wedding ring my husband and i chose was wonderful. He really likes it. I must say though, it fits true to size unlike the others comments that I've read. I ordered 1/2 size smaller but had to return it for the 1/2 size bigger. Returning it was simple. Just call, get auth code, return to blue nile, get different size or whatever you need.

I couldn't have been happier with the band! I had ordered a 10.5 which was a little big(my fault) and it was engraved, and I had to return it. The return process was simple and I got the new ring within a week of the exchange! I love Blue Nile!!!
My husband-to-be loves this ring! It has weight to it and is a beautiful design. It fits differently than regular non-comfort fit rings - keep that in mind when purchasing. It seems to be looser than others. In a regular ring he wears an 11, but in the comfort fit, he needs a 10.5 or even as low as a 10. I had to exchange the original one I bought him for a smaller size. I had a little bit of difficulty at first trying to reach customer service (the toll free numbers are blocked for my calling area for some reason), but once I got in touch, the Blue Nile staff was excellent about helping me exchange my purchase.

A platinum 5oth birthday present
I purchased the comfort-fit wedding ring in platinum (5mm) for my husband's 50th birthday. Prior to ordering I called our local jeweler to verify his size - 11. My husband "retired" his original gold wedding band after 20 years of faithful wear. He was completely surprised and touched with this beautiful ring!

The band is absolutely beautiful and exactly what he wanted. We kept looking around at different designs but this one was the one we always came back to. My biggest concern was the fit since we had gotten his ring sized two or three times but since he was in between 1/2 sizes we still couldnt figure out which way to go but with the help of the customer service people I ended up getting the perfect size. Great value
Blue Nile offers great prices and as good of service as you can get over the phone. As plain platinum rings are almost a commodity product, BN is probably the way to go. As a heads up though, they do not support 1/4 sizes well: they take longer and are non-returnable if you are not satisfied.

Solid ring, perfectly understated
Nice simple ring that I wear all the time, even running, working and showering. Platinum is about as heavy as gold, but it is a very hard metal, so if you like your ring to fit snugly as I do, realize that it will be pretty difficult to remove. It will still get scratched when you work outside, but not like gold. If you want it to be mirror smooth all of the time, you'd have to remove it before doing anything really abrasive, like digging in the dirt or working on your car.

This is a great ring. Perfect size, great quality, and I like how heavy it is, while still being very comfortable for my fiance. I spent quite a bit of exta money for the platinum because you indicated the finish was more durable. This ring already looks 30 years old, and that's with me being careful, taking it off when I'm doing anything other than my normal office job. Very disappointing...

Fit the Bill
It was exactly what we were looking for,after shopping at some of the chain retail jewelry stores, it was more than half of their prices. Its a very sturdy, heavy weight ring, my fiance is an Army helicopter pilot and needed a ring that is comfortable. I also got the 3 mm ring just like this one, I am a registered nurse and its important to have a ring without alot of stones with wearing gloves. The only thing I wish is that Blue Nile offered engraving services, we had the engraving done at a local jeweler.

My husband tried a few different bands before settling on the platinum 5 mm comfort-fit. He is extremely active and this ring suits our lifestyle perfectly. This band looks strong yet not overbearing band, and is quite comfortable. I've tried both comfort-fit and regular flat bands and the rounded edges are definitely more comfortable. The rounded edges make the ring feel a little looser, though, so you may want to try one on in a store before ordering.

My husband and I picked out matching platinum comfort fit bands. I had tried the traditional cut, but found it uncomfortable. This ring is amazingly comfortable and beautiful. We had a very spontaneous wedding and Blue Nile was able to accommodate us by getting our rings to us the week of the wedding. We were a little nervous, but they arrived right on schedule, even after I had to send mine back for a different size. Three months after our wedding, we had a plumbing fiasco and my husband's ring went missing. We were so happy with the first one, and the price was reasonable enough, that I purchased a second one to replace it. Blue Nile worked very hard to get the second ring to me by Christmas and even upgraded my shipping to overnight when there was a problem with the order. I have no hesitation is recommending them to anyone.

Beautiful and a great value
This band is so comfortable, my wife and I never take if off. We prefer the white color so much more than yellow gold. The price is really worth it. When comparing to similar sizes sold at jewelry store, this one feels so much more substantial but so much cheaper. Blue Nile delivered it so quickly it made my head spin. Keep up the good work!
Slightly disappointing ring quality
The rings don't seem to be wearing very well; they scratch easily (much easier than other platinum rings I've bought). Also the sizes are about 1/2 size larger than the norm.

It's a simple band, but the platinum makes a difference. And comfort fit really helps if your guy has an awkward finger (large knuckles, for example). It's a great ring!
The Perfect Wedding Band
It was the perfect size for my fiance and he definately needed the comfort fit as he is a physical therapist. It's beautiful and $700 cheaper than Kay's and better quality platnum!

The band arrived on time, which was three days from when ordered - which was very important because the first band I had ordered had to be returned because my husband-to-be gave me the wrong ring size! It looks beautiful, I have a matching 4mm one, and my engagement ring was also from Blue Nile. They helped my husband pick out the diamond which was of exceptional quality, the appraisal we received (through our city's most reputable jeweler) was much higher than the actual price we paid. Great Fit, Great Price, Great Product
I hate wearing rings and I hate shopping for them. I was dreading the prospect of going through a "fitting" at a jewelry store for my wedding band. I spent one afternoon with an overbearing salesman who tried to sell me a 4mm band for about $900. The ring was uncomfortable but the salesman claimed it was the right fit for me. So I steamed home, typed "platinum wedding ring" into my computer search engine and eventually found Blue Nile. I measured using your guide, bought two comfort fit platinimum bands for almost the same price I was going to pay for one in the jewelry store. They were delivered, shipping free, to my home, safely, securely and promptly. My ring is a perfect fit, comfortable for even me who cannot stand any jewelry or clothing too loose or too tight. If jewelry salespersons make you nervous, I'd recommend Blue Nile. The price is better, the fit is better, and from my experience, the product is better.
