It was so fast and easy; I could not be more pleased with the quality for the price, and the speed which they sent our wedding rings (including engraving!). Our rings were so shiny, my husband couldn't believe how they seemed to sparkle. All our other rings dull in comparison. Blue Nile had exactly what I wanted, whereas some local jewelry stores didn't even carry platinum. And everyone else I talk to about Bluenile.com has nothing but good things to say!

Loved the simple band
I was so excited when my wedding band arrived! It was just how the website had described and it looks perfect with my engagement ring.
The ring is nice and goes well with the engagement ring I bought for my fiancée previously from BN. The sizing was off the first time. BN handled the exchange professionally but I felt dealing with shipping the return internationally and the insurance cost involved tedious. The ring was supposed to be the same size as her engagement but we ended up having to go a half size bigger.

I must admit I was very reserved at first, but once they arrived I was blown away. Perfect, and just what we wanted. First thing that brought me to the site was the very competitive pricing, so this was a great opportunity to see the quality, and it was better than anything we expected. A note though, make sure you do check your measurements with Bluenile as they can very from jeweler to jeweler, we had our fingers measured at Tiffany's and at CD Peakock but bluenile was slightly different...
Better than expected
I was very surprised how easy it was to order, but even more surprised that it arrived fast, in excellent condition and exceeded my expectations upon viewing it physically. I picked out this platinum wedding band to match the platinum engagement ring also purchased from Blue Nile. The first ring was a little tight, so I returned it for a half size larger (6.5). It fits very well next to the 0.80 ct oval diamond on the other ring. I'm very pleased with the flatness of the band since it's a 6 prong setting for the diamond and there isn't a huge gap between the rings. Thank you Blue Nile for an excellent piece of jewelry!!

This was a fabulous choice to go with my trellis 4mm engagement ring. My husband also got the 4mm platinum wedding band and we couldn't be happier. Blue Nile made everything so easy. Even when I had to return my first band that was 4mm...just a little too wide for my engagement ring.
Sorry but I am not too impressed with this ring. It got very very dull quickly. Many people think it's silver.
Very comfortable
This ring is very comfortable. As with all platinum though it scratches easily.
Better Quality
My fiance bought my engagement ring from blue nile as well, and I tried on dozens of rings from other stores. Nothing seemed to feel like it had good quality weight to it as the one from blue nile. I love my rings together - they fit perfectly and look great!

My wife was sized as 4.5 ring size, but the ring is very tight, and I will need to exchange it. The ring itself is beautiful, and it was delivered on the date promised.
Does not look good with my 2mm platinum band because it sits at a different height.

Not exactly "matching"
This band was listed as a "Matching Band" for my Tapered Cathedral Engagement Ring. I ordered it, trusting that Blue Nile wouldn't recommend anything ridiculous. But when I received it and tried it on, it was completely dwarfed by my engagement ring and looked cheap in comparison. The ring probably works great with other Blue Nile engagement rings, but not the Tapered Cathedral style. When I called customer service to see what might look better and ask some questions, I got wishy-washy responses and no straight answers. I ended up ordering a band from another retailer. On a better note, the return process was quick and easy.
Perfect ring-just what I was looking for
This ring is the perfect size to complement my engagement ring which is a three stone also from Blue Nile. It is a beautiful, high quality ring and I can't wait until my wedding so I can finally wear it.

Amazing Customer Service!
We first ordered a 2.5mm band to go with my Trellis Setting engagement ring (also bought on Blue Nile). It looked dwarfed by the engagement ring, so I called customer service to discuss getting another wedding band. The woman I spoke with was great, and recommended the perfect band - A slightly thicker 3mm in a larger size. The new band was delivered the next day (which happened to be two weeks before our wedding!). The return went smoothly also, we were refunded within a week. Thank you!!

Beautiful ring!
The ring is gorgeous but my e-ring is thicker than the band and I had to return it. Price is also very good. I tried similar rings and the price was much higher! Costumer service is exceptional!
Works perfectly with trellis setting
This ring looks great with a Platinum Trellis setting. Yes, the trellis recommends a 2mm ring, but the 3mm band looks better with it.
Overall, I am very pleased with this band. My only caveat is that it is not an ideal companion to the engagement ring (which is the 2.8mm, tapered setting with a 1ct solitaire). I tried the 2mm band first as recommended on the Blue Nile site, and that was dwarfed by the engagement ring, so the 3mm is much better. Just wish it matched more closely. If Blue Nile ever comes out with a better match, I may consider replacing my 3mm. Otherwise, this was the best match available, priced competitively, and I wear it proudly at all times.
The ring is smaller than I thought, but the quality is excellent. I also purchased her engagement ring at Blue Nile and she gets compliments on it all the time. Excellent service as well. Blue Nile is great!

We looked everywhere locally for a ring like this and all were $800 or more. This was a good choice for us. I have a plain platinum band on a one carat diamond so I wanted to stay simple. And I am a nurse so I can wear them together or wear my band separately. The ring looks exactly as I expected and as explained. The service was great and I am very happy to wear this ring.

I originally purchased the 2mm band, and the width was too small. The picture on the website made it look alot larger than it was. I returned the 2mm band and purchased the 3mm band without any problem. All of this was handled promptly the week prior to Christmas.

Classic, simple band but beautiful
My fiance and I wanted simple platinum bands, and after price/quality searching, I picked this band for myself. We didn't want comfort fit, and it's hard to find bands that aren't, but one is perfect. Plus, we had a coupon code for an additional 10% off - the deal was unbeatable, and the ring is gorgeous!

Unobstrusive and unbulky
I was specifically looking for an unbulky item that barely feels like it's there. The 3mm was the perfect choice.
I would recommend, spend some more money and skip this one. As they say you get what you pay for.Mind you this is not bad at all, but then at that price you cannot expect more. Be prepared to spend atleast 2-3 times the cost of this, to get something "nice."

I was thrilled to purchase this band at such a reasonable price. I took the plain Blue Nile band to a local jeweler who had it millgrained and engraved with a delicate repeating pattern. Just the wedding band I'd wanted for less!
Excellent Customer Service
The first band I ordered was comfort fit and because my ring has 6 prongs it wouldn't fit the band properly. The lady in customer service suggested I try the other style and it worked out perfectly!
"3mm is the perfect width"
My wife had originally considered purchasing a 5mm band to go with her blue nile engagement ring, because she has long fingers and large hands. But after looking at the widths in the store and using your comparison chart online, she decided on the 3mm plat band. It's perfect. The band is a hair thicker than her engagement ring band and it really completes the set without looking like a "matched" pair.
