  The American Gem Society Laboratories is recognized by the jewelry industry as one of the foremost authorities for grading diamonds. The AGSL issues a number of grading reports:
Diamond Quality Reports provide a complete technical grading analysis, including information on proportion, polish and symmetry.
Diamond Quality Documents present a complete grading analysis, with a special emphasis on grading the cut along with the polish, proportion and symmetry.
