I have admired this style many times before and was happy to find them here in sterling silver instead of cheaper costume metals which have a tendency to irritate my ears. These are definitely a larger, bolder piece, although the sleek modern lines (love!) prevent them from being too over the top or garish. The earrings are well made and substantial in feel but not so heavy as to pull on the earlobes. Because they are more substantial, the french wire hooks are a bit larger than other hooks, which do cause the earrings to hang a bit lower (larger distance between top of hook and start of the petals) and the thicker wire can bit a bit harder to put in/take out (nothing too bad though).

I loved all the products I bought from Blue Nile. Unfortunately, the safety clasp on the bracelet I purchased for my mom wasn't very good and it came off the first day she wore it. Never to be found. It was very beautiful, but not well made.
