Disappointing
My husband bought this for me for Christmas as I had been eyeing it for ages. I was initially so happy and then sad to find that the chain it comes with is extremely lightweight so the pendant pulls down on my neck. What's even stranger, the loop on the pendant is so small you cannot change out the chain! This was really surprising so now we'll need to take it to a jeweler to get the opening increased so I can wear it. The backing of the stone is not shown in the pictures and the profile extends out quite a bit. Not sure why that is not depicted but it surprised me. All that said, I was pretty sad not to be able to wear my Christmas present and found this piece uncharacteristically, disappointing. I love Blue Nile and will still continue to shop here as we have since my husband bought my engagement ring at the site over a decade ago. This piece was definitely not the usual Blue Nile experience.
