Beautiful ball stud earrings in platinum! Love the size since they are actually bigger then on the pictures. Also, they are all around shiny, the picture shows more two kinds of finish but I really that liked they are polished all around. Wear them every day, also comfortable for sleeping, don't feel them, what in the past with other stud earrings was bothering me. Very happy with the purchase and Bluenile, so I ordered a platinum 0.84 carat solitaire ring for my 17th wedding anniversary! Planning to buy the platinum hoop earrings as well a platinum weddingband matching my new solitaire ring.

These earrings fit so right on my ears, not too small at all. I do love platinum.

For years I have had sensitivity issues with my ears. Even high quality gold and some silver caused inflammation due to the other metals needed to make the earring. One day I went to a jewerly store and a lady said to me that the only metal that would not cause irritation was platinum. When she told me that stud earrings would cost me over $500, I was crushed. I came home and did an earring search and Blue Nile came up. I was hesitant to purchase from the internet, but needed intervention for my problem, so I took a chance and bought the ball stud platinum 6mm. earrings. The price was less than half of the jewerly store, but more importantly after wearing these earrings for one day, the inflammation subsided. I can even sleep in them since they are so comfortable. Thank you Blue Nile for these little saviors. They have met all of my expectations.

These earrings are great. Simple elegance. Perfect for everyday casual, but they are equally suitable for formal wear. The only improvement I would make would be a screw back instead of butterfly.
