felt cheap, not a great gift
felt cheap, almost plastic. These are hollow and very light. They are fine if buying for yourself, no one will know. Not good as a gift.I returned and bought a single pearl on chain, much niceras a gift , same price.

This was a gift for my daughter's birthday. Her husband already gave her these beads for Christmas. She returned them at purchased the sterling knots earrings. So told me about Blue Nile, now it's all in the family!
I was not the least bit happy with the product.
I was disappointed in the quality of the necklace. The necklace felt very light, like plastic and looked cheap. I felt as though I could have gotten the same quality necklace off a rack at Target for a fraction of the price. After this experience I will not buy a piece of jewelry without seeing/handling it first, rather than merely going off a picture found on a website.

I purchased this as a thank you gift for my mother, who was my Matron of Honor for my wedding. (I also purchased the matching bracelet and drop earrings for her.) She loved the whole set!! It's very bright and shiny and is of exceptional quality. My mother is very particular about her jewelry and owns a lot of expensive pieces, so I was nervous about buying any jewelry for her. I was so thrilled when she put it on right away and starting talking about what she could wear it with. It's very classy for either casual or dressy occasions. It will probably tarnish over time, as all silver tends to do, so I also purchased the polishing cloth--just in case.

The necklace arrived quickly, and it was exactly as Blue Nile described it on their web site. I looked at similar necklaces in several department stores in the mall, and it cost the same for a fake (not real silver) version of this necklace.
Good value for the price
A pretty bracelet...I wish there were larger diameters to order, as the 10 mm is still rather delicate. The bracelet was a gift for my grandmother and was perfect for her, but I would want something a little chunkier for me. It was delivered promptly and well packaged. The silver color is beautiful--the bracelet isn't as heavy as its high-end store counterpart.

I expected to be an exact copy of the Tiffany one. I still think it was a great value and a very sharp looking necklace...I've been wearing it almost daily!

small and very light
This item is nie but it is rather small and very, very light. If you seen the Tiffany sterling beaded items this is not similar. It is much smaller and less substantial. I actually purchased this item after seeing larger, more substantial pieces like it in Mexico.

I have only worn my necklace once, but I can't say that I have any complaints. I got a couple compliments on it.
Nice...but reservations.
Overall I was pleased with how easy the process was and the necklaces were pretty. However, they came a day late which was created a small bit of panic for me and the fixed clasp end is far too small. The loop side being so small makes attaching the necklace very difficult. As I was giving the necklaces as a gift that day, I had to bite the bullet, even though I had second thoughts.

I did not get a chance to see this for myself as I sent it to my best friend for a birthday gift. However, she called me and told me that she loved it and she wore it everyday that week. I was pleased with the wonderful customer service. I would recommend that the silver products would be available on your Canadian website.

Silver was a little lighter than I'd hoped (not sure how hollow each bead is), but my wife loves it. Heavier may be more annoying to wear, and certainly more expensive.

I love it!
This a great necklace at a great price. Similar necklaces I found in department stores cost at least twice as much. I do, however, have to agree with other comments that the clasp is troublesome - it can be difficult to open and gets caught in my hair. Overall, it is a beautiful necklace that is a great value. Also, in terms of customer service, Blue Nile has been fast to respond and very helpful.

The bead necklace was not what I expected. I was so disappointed with it that I returned it. It looks very cheaply made. I wouldn't recommend this particular piece.

The graduation of the beads is very elegant and looks very nice around my girlfriend's neck. She loved the piece (and matching bracelet) and wore it all weekend at a wedding through several clothes/dress changes. It is a perfect weight. The clasp takes nimble fingers (or those of a boyfriend that aren't clad in lotion).

I bought the graduated necklace and the two ball stud earrings to be used as a set. They are a perfect match. The necklace is lightweight. So, it is not weighty around my neck. Both pieces have a nice shiny finish. But they are not gaudy.
