Easily scratched
My husband ordered the money clips for his groomsmen and liked them so much he wanted one for himself. So I bought one for him which arrived in good condition like the others. However, it is easily scratched and soon got a dull finish that could not be buffed back to the original shine.
I was very pleased as was my husband who this gift was for. It's not very big, if someone carry's a lot of bills this wouldn't work. It met my expections and my husbands needs very well.

It's a nice money clip. I had expected a thicker silver (more comparable to money clips from Tiffany & Co.) but this clip does not have as sturdy a feel. That said, I have never shopped at Blue Nile and really didn't know what to expect. Overall, the service and delivery was quick. I had my clip engraved and it was done well and in good time.

Sophisticated Gift for Men
I purchased this money clip as a gift for my brother-in-law. It is a heavy polished piece of sterling that looks great when you pull it our of your pocket and feels good in your hand.
The money clip was perfect. However, the engraving could have been bigger. You could barely see the Letter H engraved in the money clip.

Pretty, but overpriced
The item I got (silver money clip) was gorgeous, and so was the presentation. However, soon after making my purchase, I regretted it. I found many other highly similar items in other stores that were much more reasonably priced. The result? I won't make any other future purchases from Blue Nile, because I know that I can find the same thing in a store for a lower price.
