Great gift
Purchased this for little sister's 12th birthday and it was a big hit. Blue Nile always delivers an excellent product with top service.
this is a beauitiful piece (which is why i bought it) but i was dissapointed with the actual size (which is quite petite)

Excellent, exactly as pictured
This is a great item. The heart is a good size, a nice silver presence without being overbearing. The garnet is a deep red. The chain is delicate. The engraved initial looks elegant. I purchased it because garnet is the birthstone of someone special who has passed away. I had it engraved with that person's initial and I wear it daily so I have a reminder of them near my heart. This item was exactly what I was looking for. This is not my first Blue Nile purchase (I have some pearls and other silver too) and it won't be my last.
I loved the necklace, I just wish the heart was alittle larger.
