This chain was inexpensive but seems too "clunky", and not at all shiny, to be sterling.

The chain was just fine. I bought it so that my granddaughter could wear a birthstone ring on it. It was a little bulkier than I had expected, but it was very much worth the price.
Perfect chain at the perfect price!!
A very nice value for this chain and I was able to get it in a 16" length which is usually hard to find. It goes perfectly with the size pendant we were buying it for. As usual, Blue Nile was impeccable in their product, packaging, presentation, and support. I am a long time customer and intend to continue as such.
The weight of the chain is perfect for a medium size pendant. The price is also reasonable for the heft of the chain.

Just what I expected
Nicely packaged and just what I expected, there were no problems with the silver chain. The links are a little larger than a more delicate chain but went well with the pendant I used.
Disappointed with quality of chain.
I'm disappointed. The chain's clasp didn't work and I spent $10 to get a new clasp put on it. The jeweler agreed the clasp wasn't big enough. Then, the chain broke. I have purchased jewlery from you before, and this is the first time I felt I received inferior merchadise.
Perfect length!
The 18" cable chain is the perfect length! All of my pendents slide on easily. I wish it were a shinier silver, otherwise I love it!
Beyond Expectations
I had bought a blue topaz pendant from a local jeweler here in Arizona, and I was not pleased with the white gold chain they had provided. I was searching online for a replacement, and came across this piece. I noticed this was sterling silver, but i decided to take a gamble. A few days later, along with customer service that was above and beyond, I had received this piece and was simply amazed at the quality and luster of its brilliance. An excellent buy. I would recommend this piece to replace any white gold chain that may not satisfy you.

Very smooth chain.
I thought it was nice for the price. The lobster clasp is easy to use. There are no rough spots on the chain that your hair gets caught on.

I bought this as a gift for my mom for Christmas. It came beautifully packaged. My mom called me the week after Christmas and said she LOVED her chain and asked where I bought it. She is it was very nice and she was extremely happy with the quality. I also want to buy one for myself.

Good value for silver chain.
The chain is of a good weight, has good length and width, but the silver is slightly of a darker color than the picture. The clasp has a small opening, so it may take several tries to hook and unhook chain. Other than that, the gift box it came in was elegant. I would shop here again.

Loved the chain, heavier than I expected. Shipping was super fast. I will always shop at Blue Nile first when looking for gifts for myself or others.
In general, I love the necklace. The silver cabling is beautiful and strong. The clasp is a tiny bit smaller than I'd like though and seems a little hard to hold open. This makes it hard to close without a few tries.

Good quality, but clasp is difficult to fasten
Sturdy, well-made chain. I got it to wear with some birthstone charms. The clasp is a little difficult to manage...the round part that hooks into the lobster claw is quite small and it takes some skill to get the pieces together.
The chain is lovely. It looks great with the initial charm.
