I bought these for my sister in-law last Christmas, she loved them. I liked the style so much that i bought some of the blue topaz ones for myself. I loved them so much, I had to buy the Amethyst style too.

Durable enough for everyday wear, modern yet subtle.

I usually wear my everyday earrings until they (literally) fall apart. I bought these because they're very similar to a pair I've had for about 10 years - the only ones I have NOT broken. Hinged post clasps are secure and very durable. I'd been trying to find another pair like them for years, without success (until now). The amethyst hoops arrived about 2 weeks ago, and were everything I'd hoped for. They have a distinctly modern style that is subtle enough for everyday wear. Also, the customer service and shipping were excellent. I'll definitely shop at Blue Nile again.
