My fiance loved the ring. It has an very nice vintage feel to it and looks much better in person than the pictures would lend. Being able to select your own diamond allows you to upgrade later on. I'm very glad I got this ring and didn't have to go to a box store. Definite buy.

Absolutely perfect ring

I was nervous about buying online without seeing the ring in person first, but after browsing the local jewelry stores, I couldn't find anything that compared with Blue Nile. I can't count the number of great comments we have received about the ring. Be aware that the detail is not as visible as it looks in the enlarged picture, but there is just enough to accent the diamond without taking the focus away from it. I don't plan on ever buying another engagement ring, but if I did, I would come back to Blue Nile.

We had a very good experience with Blue Nile. They were always courteous and professional, and patiently answered all my many questions. The diamond was beautiful, and the cut and proportions were just as described. Blue Nile offers a lot of information, and this quite helpful when purchasing a diamond. However, be warned that the settings are much smaller thanthey appear on the website. I already suspected as much, since they are enlarged to show detail. But my fiancee was a bit disappointed, as he was expecting the set to be a bit larger in size. But, since I was looking for a simple, petite band that showed off the center diamond and was not too large for my rather short fingers, I was pleased with this setting. The pear shaped .42 G IF we purchased was so beautiful. So just be aware that the settings are smaller than they appear and you should be quite happy. Everything came exactly when promised and the hardwood engagement box is beautiful. I love my ring!

The white gold is not very white. I suppose that they don't always dip the rings. And it is a whole lot smaller than you would think. The detail is hard to see. Dainty is a good word.

Do your research on diamonds! Shopping jewelry stores was nothing but frustration. I soon learned that I couldn't trust them. Blue Nile had the best prices on diamonds, and I looked around for feedback on them. Everything I could find was positive. So I decided to give the 30-day return policy a shot in case I didn't get what I expected. We are both amazed at the ring. Like it says in the title, we couldn't be happier with the ring. A good diamond will still sparkle once you get it out of the jewelry store lighting, and this one blazes! Customer service is amazing! I had one short 2 minute conversation over the phone with them and they couldn't have been more helpful. Don't hesitate to buy from Blue Nile, I sure won't!
