I was able to compare these earrings side by side to the patinum mounted diamond studs offered by Blue Nile and ultimately chose these - mounted in white gold. The difference in the diamond color is noticeable when the two are compared side by side, however, these earings are still of great quality and represent the best value that I found.

I was in NYC and stopped by Tiffany's to purchase a gift for my wife's birthday. I ended up with a very small set of diamond earrings. I then went online and looked at the Blue Nile deals through my employers services network. Twice the diamond size for 1/2 price. I returned the Tiffany earrings. She loved the Blue Nile product and has worn them everyday for more than a month.
