The ring was exactly what we wanted - great quality that we expect from Blue Nile! We had to size down the ring and experienced nothing but exceptional customer service. I wanted to engrave the ring and the customer service agent was gracious enough to offer her opinion when I asked for it. I was pleased with the quality of the engraving, but the font size was a bit smaller than I expected. Overall though, we love the ring quality, weight and its masculine design. This is my third purchase from Blue Nile and the product and service were exceptional as usual. This ring has modern lines and classic appeal, the weight is substantial for its size, and you cannot beat the durability of platinum. The comfort fit is exactly that, comfortable, and the engraving was high quality. Not to mention that it was less than a third of the price of retail stores.

Had both the normal and the low dome, the normal ring felt heavier, but the low dome looked better so I kept it. I found that it scratches easily, and the flat edge perpendicular to the dome side gets nicked where the two sides meet.

When this ring arrived it came in great condition shiny and very polished. This ring definately has some weight to it. Unfortunately, my fiance felt that a 6mm was just too wide and I had to exchange it any how for a smaller ring size. Since bluenile doesn't offer a 5mm comfort fit low dome, we exchanged it for the non-comfort fit 5mm wedding ring. Which he felt was a better fit for him. My exhange was flawless and easy, I havent received my credit for my exhange but they did tell me it would take a couple of days. Their next day shipping is awesome. However, I did have to pay to return the ring for an exhange and with registered mail with return reciept its about $20 or so. If you dont feel like paying out an extra $20 bucks, make sure you get sized before ordering. Overall awesome experience.
