Great Birthday Gift--for myself!
I bought these as a birthday gift for myself to match the blue topaz pendant my husband had surpised me with on Christmas. They are BEAUTIFUL and a nice size--not so big that they're gawdy, but big enough to get noticed. Every time I've worn them, I've gotten compliments.

Great Christmas gift from my daughter to my wife
I ordered these topaz earrings to replace a pair of very similar topaz earrings that I got for my wife more than a decade ago--she had lost one of them a couple years back and regretted it. My 9-year old daughter picked them out as her Christmas gift to her mother. The quality was great. I was a little worried at first--my first purchase from an on-line jewelry store buying sight-unseen, but it worked out really well. The quality of the stones was very high, given the price. Shipping took longer than I was told (I was told 2days and I think it took 4 days), but I understand that was in Fedex's control and it was just a few days before Christmas, so I'm not really complaining! They got here in the end and are really beautiful.

She wears them every day.
Delivery was quick, just in time for anniversary. I have an eye for detail and did notice a hazy, milky center in both stones. Not as clear and transparent looking as the web photos. I am not an expert, so this could be the way all topaz stones look. At least they match in that respect, so I kept 'em. They are a bit smaller than what I was expecting but are quite beautiful. The setting and clasp are well thought out details. The presentation box is beautiful as well.
The bottom line is that she put them on immediately and has worn them every day since. She loves them.

Wife says they are Elegant

The glamour factor far outweighs the modest cost! My criteria were white gold or platinum, the December birthstone, and hopefully leverback design--perfect, with beautiful materials and construction.
