Lies for the Greater Good
This is the proposal from my fiance, Kristen's side...

Jonathan made up an email address claiming to be someone from our college working on a project and wanting to interview couples on tape. Reward was $25 gift card. I had no idea it wasn't really Jonathan on the other end, so I called him up to ask if he would be interested and then responded to the email.

I planned to meet the girls working on the project Tuesday afternoon (he said he had interviewed with them that morning). When I got there, I met Amanda who said her partner (the one who had been emailing me) could not make it for the interview. She wired me up and asked me a series of questions on tape about mine and Jonathan's relationship. Once we were finished she asked if I wanted to see Jonathan's interview from earlier in the day. Of course I said yes! I was watching the tape as he said a lot of sweet things when it came to the question, "Do you see a future with Kristen?" His response started out as, "Well...umm...ya know" and then the screen switched and he was staring right at the camera and said, "Kristen I know you are watching this. Turn around". I laughed thinking he was joking but I actually turned around to find him on one knee with a beautiful ring asking me to marry him. It was so wonderful, magical, and shocking all at the same time! I was totally surprised! My knees were shaking, my eyes were watering and I cannot express how happy I was. In the moments that followed, I only remember him holding me and a lot of I love yous and oh my words being exchanged.

To top it all off, he had made arrangements for a group of our friends to meet us at Ruby Tuesdays to celebrate the new engagement. Guess its good he knew Id say yes! ;)

So here I amengaged, happy, excited, and thrilled to see what God has in store for our future. I am going to marry the love of my life and I couldnt have asked for anything better than that.

OH and it turns out Miss Amanda the college student is actually a professional videographer. She played her part well, I must admit!
