Our Proposal
Story: A Perfect Brew
My boyfriend (fiancee') works at Starbuck's and I went up one night to see him. He asked me to go to his house to run and pick up some stuff. I thought it was kind of weird for him to send me off to do errands. I wasn't too happy about it either. I told him that I would in exchange for my favorite drink. When I got back he was sitting in the corner of the store ( the same place that I was sitting when I first met him). He asked for them to make me my drink and then he brought it to the table. I wanted to wait to drink it and we were talking for about ten minutes when I noticed that he began to laugh nervously. I thought he was laughing at me. He kept looking at my drink so I finally picked the cup up. It was very light and I started jabbing him about not even getting me a full drink. He then grabbed the cup from my hand, got on one knee, opened the lid and to my surprise it was filled halfway with coffee beans and on top was my ring box. He said shortly after I met you you invited me to a wedding and now I want to invite you to ours, will you marry me? I was so stunned that I had to ask him later exactly how he proposed to me. I did say yes and have been smiling ever since.
