Her Ring
Our Proposal
Story: Engagement
It was a random Tuesday evening, and I couldn't hold on to her ring any longer. I received her ring two weeks prior, and it took every ounce of will power for me to keep it hidden. We both work in the business industry, and her day took a sharp turn in the direction of stress and longer hours. It was 4:30pm CST, and I was sitting at my computer trying to plan a great getaway and the perfect proposal. It soon dawned on me that I was only prolonging the proposal. I left work early knowing that she had a longer evening at work in font of her. I went out and purchased some wine,champaigne,100 red roses, and a load of rose pedals. I shot home to shower our place with roses,Sinatra, and to prep the dinner that I was fixing to cook for her. I kept in contact with her while she was working to make sure that I was in the clear, and found that her motivation to work was at an all time low and frustration at its highest. When she made it home in the evening she walked into a home full of roses. She walked into the living room in shock, and turned around to find me on one knee popping the question. Her frustrations faded, tears fell, and we celebrated the entire evening as we called our loved ones to share the good news. Thank you Blue Nile for a great engagement ring, and wonderful service.
