Our Proposal
Story: geocache & firefly proposal
Went from a evening of no real plans to a night of geocaching. First a real pre-existing cache, and then one Tim setup surrounded by artificial fire-flies and with a cute stuffed owl nestled in the bushes. Inside was an empty ring box with a note inside to turn around. I turned and Tim was on his knee proposing and presenting the beautiful ring. I said YES, and then after lots of laughter and tears, we followed a short path uphill to a ridgetop picnic where we wrapped ourselves in Christmas lights & danced to our song. Next we shared communion (with Japanese melon pan & apple juice), picnic'd while watching the ocean and city "sea of lights" & finally cuddled warmly together while reflecting on our incredible past & hopes for our future!
