Our Proposal
Story: Christmas Light Proposal
My proposal happened just before Christmas, and I love Christmas lights. I took Cat out to look at various Christmas lights around town for a few nights leading up to the big event. The night I proposed, we just came back from looking at some more, and I told her that I had some extra lights and that I decided to decorate my backyard. She gave me this "Oh, you!" look, but she agreed to look at them. So I took her to the backyard, and put her in front of where they would turn on. The first set of lights that I plugged in was a walkway. The second set of lights were my trees and bushes all decorated, and the words "Marry Me?" written on the ground at the end of the walkway. I took her to the end of the walkway, got down on one knee and proposed. She was completely surprised, and she obviously said yes.
