Our Proposal
Story: What a wonderful night! :-)
Well, we were standing on his front steps just talking and he had his arms around me. He told me he loved me quite a few times, and in an attempt to let him actually get down on one knee he asked if I ever figured out my ring size... I told him I thought it was a 6.5 and at that point he grabbed my hands from around his neck and held them for a second. He had to move quickly because he thought that I was starting to pick up on what was going on. The ring was a size 6 (which was actually perfect!) so he was joking with me and then looked at me and said "well that could be a problem because I was trying to figure out a way to ask you to marry me." I think my jaw dropped and my eyes got as big as saucers. A second later, he said "Will you marry me ?" I replied Absolutely, of course, YES!!! He hadnt even gotten the ring out by that point. After a few seconds of hugging and kissing he placed the ring on my finger and the next question was: "When did you ask dad?!" and he said to me "earlier this week." I was so excited I burst into the house where my mother and Chris' parents were and exclaimed, "We're ENGAGED!". Such a sweet and romantic night!
