So, one night I asked her to go to dinner with me and we went. We don't go out much with just the two of us so it was nice. Then we came back to my house and went and sat in my studio... I was tinkering on the computer she was reading a book and I asked her if she would want to hear something I had been working on... So very quietly I played the song on my acoustic making sure she could here all the lyrics and she was amazed... totally took her off guard... then we went out on the roof. (my house has an observation deck sort of thing on the roof and I over look the end trails of stone mountain) I had the ring stashed out there and we were looking at the stars and talking... (so in my song I talked about how I hoped every night would be like tonight and see the stars and everything would be just right...) and I got down on one knee and asked her if she would spend every night with me and grow old together and marry me! She started crying and the whole night was a success!!! She loves the ring. She loves me. I'm a happy man.
