Great Everyday Earrings
I bought these earrings for myself, so I would have pair of earring to wear on a daily basis. These earrings match a wide range of casual and dress clothes and do not irritate my sensitive ears. I used to wear small pearls daily, but I like that I don't have to take these off when I shower or go swimming. Keep in mind that these earrings are simple and classic. They are not at all flashy or fancy.

The post on the earrings is different than those shown in the picture. They're a bit straigher, and are not completely cylindrical. Rather in a cross-section they're a bit rectangular, but still ok.

The earrings were the size and quality I was certainly looking for. My one concern is this. I don't understand why one would make square wires with sharp edges to go though the ears. Seems to me they should be rounded off. I must find a repair shop here to fix this. I would also like to see plain ball and post earrings in 3mm and 4mm sizes. No one seems to make these. I'm sure I'm not alone in having reactions to gold. The platinum is great!

The last purchase of the Platinum earrings was an ok experience with Blue Nile. I think the size of the earrings were a bit smaller than I had expected. Overall I think Blue Nile is a great company to work with. Blue Nile was were I purchased the 1.5 carrot, VVS1, color F engagement ring, and I could not be happier with the way that I was handled (customer service) and the quality of the ring. I will defintely do business with Blue Nile in the Future.
The Platinum Hoop earrings were exactly what I wanted except I wanted a larger hoop. The description of the earrings did not indicate size but the quality was great so I kept them to give to someone else!

I purchased the Platinum Polished Hoop Earrings for my fiance's birthday and she loves them. She wears them all of the time.
When I ordered the earrings I was given an approximate date of delivery. After that date passed with no delivery, I called Blue Nile to find out what the status of my order was. I do not have the saleperson's name at hand, but she asked for some time to investigate the order. What resulted was that my order was lost through the post office who said they had delivered. Blue Nile replaced my order promptly. This was the 3rd item I had ordered from Blue Nile and the problem only occured because of the post office and most likely due to 9/11 problems that a lot of mail had experienced. I would recommend Blue Nile for their products and their service.
