Senior Manager of European Operations

The Senior Manager of European Operations will own all aspects of the international Customer Service and Fulfillment processes at Blue Nile. This position will coordinate with all U.S.-based departments as well as external groups to achieve results. The Senior Manager of European Operations will directly oversee Customer Service, Production, Quality Assurance, Inventory Control, Shipping, and Receiving.

Essential Functions:
  • Drive European fulfillment and customer service in high-growth, high-performance environment
  • Manage team of customer service agents, bench jewelers and fulfillment personnel
  • Plan to ensure capacity is sufficient to handle peak volumes
  • Assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements
  • Optimize the distribution of work between internal and external capacity
  • Maintain industry-leading product quality
  • Ensure excellent on-time performance
  • Achieve continuous improvement in quality, productivity and lead time
  • Provide vision and leadership to maintain a positive, motivated, high-performance team
  • Work cooperatively with colleagues in the US to achieve overall company goals
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar type of role
  • Proven people management skills
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Results driven
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Bachelors degree required
