Quality Assurance Supervisor

Blue Nile seeks a Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead the company's product quality assurance efforts. The Quality Assurance Supervisor will own Blue Nile's product-inspection process. He or she will be responsible for the overall direction and performance of the department.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all products meet Blue Nile's industry-leading quality standards
  • Effectively train and develop quality assurance team members
  • Manage and guide team to meet daily goals and drive projects to achieve long-term objectives.
  • Capture economies of scale to drive down unit costs
  • Continually improve processing lead times
  • Plan to ensure capacity is sufficient to handle peak volumes
  • Contribute to Blue Nile's industry-leading accuracy and on-time shipping performance
  • Provide leadership to maintain a positive, motivated, high-performance team
Qualifications:
  • Proven leadership ability
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Results oriented
  • Ability to operate effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 2-5 years experience in quality assurance
  • 2+ years supervisory experience
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Graduate Gemologist diploma preferred
