These are uncomfortable to wear.
The part of the erring that goes through the ear piercing is much too big. It is very uncomfortable to wear. You should include a caution to potential customers to indicate that the gauge of the through wire is bigger than normal

They are so secure that they are a little difficult to unhook for removal, but I find that a pair of thin latex gloves gives me a good grip on them.

The earrings are beautiful! The only hiccup for me is that the holes in my ears are very small and the posts on these earrings are larger in diameter than most pierced earring posts and especially if you are used to wires. So, I am now looking for some earrings w/ posts that are larger so I can stretch the holes in my ears! Any ideas? I am not a multiple hole person. Thanks, MBE
It was Love at First Sight
My sister is an active Mom, Wife and Welding Student. She wanted something that would be beautiful, classy and comfortable for day and night wear. I got her this pair of Hinged Hoop Earrings and it was Love at First Sight. After putting them on, she first question was "Do they have them in white gold?"... it was a HUGE hit!!!

ouch!
4 stars...simply because the part that goes through the ear is not smooth. It's rough due to the stamping. It caused some pain the first few times i wore them. I put some neosporin on them the last time i wore them and my ears were better. They are beautiful earrings, but i was scared to take them out. Ouch!

I was imediatly pleased with this pair of earrings. The gold is solid, and rich looking. The earring is well made with a very secure clasp. There is nothing cheap looking, or feeling about this pair. They sleep well, and have never been out of place wherever I wear them. They pair up with my best diamond studs. I am considering buying 2 more pair. Gorgeous 18k gold color. Very Pleased!

Good quality but disappointed in size.
I imagined the earrings would be wider. I was trying to replace I pair I had lost but was disappointed. I should note they are lovely but very small and would look better on a younger person. I will be returning
I love these earrings. I put them on as soon as they arrived and haven't taken them off. They're comfortable to sleep in and will be perfect for travel. They're not too small and not too big, perfect for everyday. The quality is great too, although they aren't very big they are heavy, typical quality Italian craftsmanship.

they're exactly what I was looking for. I've been wearing them 24/7 and they're very secure on my ears. They are the only 18k that I could find. I like 18k because it looks like gold. 14k looks cheap. Now, if you could also sell something in 18k that is a little bit chunkier for special occasions, that would be great.

Beautiful earings! Just what I wanted. A bit difficult to get off, until I tried taking them off with latex gloves on (I use them for painting in pastels). That worked like a charm.

Seems to me, small gold hoops will never go out of style, so I wanted a pair constructed to last. I found them at Blue Nile: a modest design yet substantial enough to show off their 18k character. The hinge is sturdy, and I hear a comforting 'click' when I fasten the hoop, so I'm not worried about losing them.

The earrings were very cute and snug to the ear lobe. Just like I wanted. The closure through the ear is very comfortable with no hinges to mar the sleek look. The earring are very well made and are solid gold, not the cheap hollow stuff you get elsewhere. Love them! Haven't taken them off since I received them!

Since I have 2 piercings in each ear,2 pairs were ordered. I was excited to wear my very 1st 18k hoops. I was impressed at the weight and was expecting these small hoops to be lighter in weight. Of course, I slept with both pairs to see if my ears would hurt. Honestly, 1st night alittle tight. Afterwards,it was great to notice every morning all hoops on securely. No pinching at all. Reasonably priced- I looked all over the Internet. It's almost a month and I'm still wearing both pairs w/no problem. As for my other earrings - what other earrings? ;)

These 18k small gold hoops are a beautiful color, attractively shaped, very comfortable, and don't come off accidentally. As a Dental Hygienist, I put on/take off face masks all day long and don't have to worry about losing my perfect little earrings.

for my ears, the hoops are a bit heavy and the snap is hard to close on my one ear. Also, I prefer the style with round tube instead of square tube. Qualitywise it is a great purchase, but the style and snap style is not for my particular ear.

Not easily impressed
I've looked for a pair of small gold hoops for a long while....& hands down, bar none...these are the best, the most well made, w/ the most secure closures & they don't catch in your hair. They're beautiful.

I sometimes hesitate to order jewelry online because I cannot see it "in person", but these hoop earrings looked just perfect so I requested a white gold pair as a present. I was so pleased with the pair that I had received as a gift that I ordered a second pair myself in yellow gold! They are the perfect pairing of form and function being truly elegant hoops and having an easy to use hinged clasp. Both pairs have made a really lovely addition to my jewelry collection.
The pictures in the catalog did not do the earrings justice. The appearance and craftsmanship were much better than what I expected.
Merry Christmas
My wife's only christmas wish was for a pair of small, gold, hoop earrings. The Blue Nile earrings she recieved had a brilliant shine and look and she could not be happier. For her birthday I will get her a larger, matching pair as her Larger earrings look dull by comparison.
