I have looked for "nice" garnets without luck. Saw Forbes re: Blue Nile, looked at the website and decided to give them a try. The stones are very nice, consistent in color, brilliant andvery nicely set. The clasp is a "double lock" type and is very secure. My daughter is very particular about dress and jewelry. She loves the bracelet and has worn it frequently-- a sure sign of the right gift- and of great quality.
