Latest Reviews for Engagement Rings

  • star star star star star My girlfriend was blown away!

Laurie explained to me that G color is more than adequate in terms of colorlessness especially with an Ideal cut and the reflection it provides. More than adequate to use a platinum setting. And moreover, that a VS1 would provide no detectable flaws in the stone. She explained that even strong flourescense normally has no detectable impact on 99% of diamonds and that my diamond was free from any negative effects. (The 1% can appear milky). All the knowledge Laurie provided me with allowed me to maximize the size of the stone without wasting resources on indistinguishable upgrades. The end result was a completely confident decision that exceeded my fiance's expectations! Laurie is awesome!!!

Ring was simple and elegant. She loved it! The classic design of the ring was understated and really makes the diamond the star of the show.

I don't know yet how the ring will look on her finger, but the size of the diamond is an important factor for this type of setting. The diamond I purchased is smaller than the diameter of the setting which makes it look small, but one can also appreciatively observe from the top of the overall diameter that includes the setting. If you prefer that the diamond should be bigger than the setting, you may want a thinner or low-profile setting or pay a bit more for a bigger carat. Don't sacrifice a diamond's sparkle over the size of the diamond though.
