  It sparkles everywhere I go!
When I first open the box, my heart skipped a beat because I was just so mesmerized by how sparkly and HUGE the diamond looked. It looked a lot bigger than 0.71, infact I have people come up and ask me if it was a 1 carat diamond. Blue Nile is not kidding when they say a cut above everyone else, the rock looks so much clearer, sparkly-er and classier than anything I've seen at a local jewelry store. The most important of the "four Cs" is "cut" and the Blue Nile Signature collection has the diamonds with the best cut! Many of the signature cut diamonds even have the "hearts and arrows" pattern (look at the GCAL reports). You may pay a little more for these stones and you may have to get a slightly lower carat weight in order to stay within budget, but it is worth it- the brilliance, fire, and scintillation of my signature diamond is exceptional!

  Get a smaller CT diamond with better characteristics
best diamond. I made a great choice by getting a nicer quality diamond and very small at only .25 ct. I realized when I looked at the mm measurements that getting a .5 ct or .75 ct wasnt much bigger at all than .5 ct because most of the size is in the depth which it's the top area that matters the most and then getting a high quality clarify and cut diamond with no color is best.
