The quality and beauty of this ring is exceptional. We had looked high and low for just the right band at a great price, and Blue Nile couldn't be beat. Most retail stores band's had fewer diamonds of a lesser quality at a higher price. We liked that this band has more diamonds at the same 1/2 ct. wt. as the stores giving it a thinner width, showing less of the platinum at the sides and ends of the channel, and making it a bit more delicate looking. It goes perfectly with the Blue Nile Princess-cut solitaire with the comfort fit band. The diamonds are absolutely beautiful together. Also, Blue Nile has wonderful customer service, and both of our rings were delivered very promptly. We ordered Wednesday, and they arrived Friday morning.
Not bad with a three stone engagement ring!
I was skeptical at first but when I got the ring I loved it. I have a three stone platinum princess cut engagement ring and even though it does not sit flush with the ring its not a bad match.
Absolutely Beautiful. She chose this over the Pave or the channel-cut Asscher setting because it looks fuller, has slightly higher-quality diamonds, and best radiance for the $. She is a size 3.5 -- petite -- and no, this ring does not look too chunky on her. I could've bought the 3/4 and it still would have looked refined and elegant on her. Keep in mind this style does not match with a comfort-setting band if paired with the engagement ring -- a mistake I made. I am glad that I chose platinum -- I considered white gold, but then I saw a friend's ring where the Rhodium plating wore off. Yes, this can be fixed. BOTH white gold and platinum show scratches quickly, so clean and polish them often. Excellent Value.

my fiance purchased the engagement ring from blue nile and i was extremely pleased with the quality and craftsmanship of the ring! we decided to get the wedding bands from here as well and we were not disappointed when it arrived! it's an elegant ring with just enough flash to catch some attention but modest in its design - a perfect ring that reflects what we wanted!

Attractive, but questions

I had origionally bought the Platinum Channel-Set engagement ring for my fiance, which was beautiful in itself, and trying to find a matching wedding band was very difficult. I visited every jewelry store in the state of Maryland only to find rings that were similar in design and more expensive; but the diamond clarity was not as clear as the Platinum Channel-Set Diamond Band (1/2 ct. tw.) I purchased from Blue Nile. We were very impressed with the ring and it matched beautifully with the engagement ring I purchased over a year ago.
