It was perfect....
I got down on my knee next to an iced over lake shadowed by snow covered mountain tops in Keystone Colorado, and she said "YES!" Not only that, but she absolutely loved the ring! It is the 1ct eternity setting with a 1.37 F VS1 diamond and it looks absolutely perfect together. The diamonds on the side accent the center stone perfectly, they are not overwhelming and they are not too tiny and cheap looking like some rings we looked at. The height of the diamond was really important to her, she didnt want it to sit too high and it doesnt, it sits just right so you can see the side of the diamond without obstruction, and its not too low like some rings we looked at where it seems like the diamond is being swallowed by metal. It is gorgeous! The website pictures really dont do it justice! It is the perfect ring for the perfect proposal in the perfect place with the perfect girl, and we will cherish this ring as a symbol of our love forever. Thank you Blue Nile!

She loved the ring
The only drawback of buying this ring is that she stared at it rather than me for most of the weekend, and that is a drawback I am willing to live with. Great service, incredible quality, and confidence in the product are for me the highlights of working with Blue Nile. An incredibly beautiful ring and a great experience all around. I even told her that she could exchange the ring if she really did not love it and she did not want to change a thing (amazing in itself), perfect fit as well.
