30-Day Local Return Policy within Canada

Our 30-day money back guarantee gives you time to make sure your purchase is perfect. If you need to return it for any reason, we'll happily provide you with an exchange or full refund.

You may return within 30 days of purchase when in its original condition except in the case of non-refundable special orders. Engraving fees, when applicable, are non-refundable. Please note the customer pays the return postage.

Our Canadian Return Process

Your complete satisfaction with our product is guaranteed or items may be returned to our Canadian Authorized Return Centre or exchanged within thirty days from when it was shipped, with a Return Merchandise Authorisation. You will only pay for return shipping within Canada and insurance fees. To receive a return authorisation for orders shipped follow the steps outlined below.

How To Prepare A Return

To return a diamond or jewellery item to Blue Nile, please contact our Customer Service department at 888-565-7609 or by email at . You will receive a Return Authorisation Code as well as detailed instructions for returning your order within Canada. please include any GIA/GCAL/AGS diamond grading report and your appraisal(s). Diamond grading reports and appraisals are not required for repairs and resizes. Also we strongly recommend insuring your return shipment for its full shipment or purchase value.

For your convenience and at your discretion, insurance can be purchased through Group 4 Securicor International (G4SI) at a discounted rate. Insurance can be purchased directly from G4SI via an online application should you select this option: www.g4si.com/bluenilerepair.

After Your Return Has Been Received by Blue Nile

Upon receiving your return, the item will be reviewed by our Quality Assurance department. Please note that items showing signs of wear or those that have been altered, resized (by a jeweller other than Blue Nile), or damaged in any way cannot be accepted for return. Returns with no Blue Nile return code, and packages that are improperly packaged or uninsured will be refused receipt. Please allow an average of 2-3 business days for review. We will contact you should we have any questions or if you require a repair quote.

For refunds, please allow an additional 7-10 business days to issue your credit and another 2-8 business days for your credit card company to post against your account. Any duty or tax charged to your original order will be automatically refunded to you where applicable. Returns for repairs and resizing will be conducted locally in Canada.
