She loves the ring!!!
I was doing some subtle research on what my now fiance wanted in an engagement ring, and ended on the petite cathedral pave setting. However, I wanted a six-prong claw which I didn't expect that Blue Nile would be able to do, but to my surprise, they were extremely helpful and able to build the ring exactly how I envisioned it. Long story short, she loved the ring!

I bought this setting with a 0.79ct mq diamond. Absolutely stunning! Infact the more i looked at it the more i loved it. Although at first i thought the side stones were a little too small it actually gives the ring a very elegant feel. My girlfriend loved it and it looked absolutely stunning on her finger. I would recommend this to anyone who has slim fingers. Only problem I had was that the ring was 1/2 size too big. I had the option of sending it back to blue nile which would cost $100-150 for shipping and insurance (to my understanding I am responsible for the insurance portion of the cost for blue nile to ship it back to me too) or find a reputable local store to do the resizing. I chose the latter option because I dont feel comfortable sending the ring back and forth. It wasn't easy finding a place that would laser weald it while you wait since it is a platinum setting.
