About the Bulova Brand

From the moment 23-year-old Czech immigrant Joseph Bulova set up shop in New York in 1875, the name Bulova has symbolized a unique blend of old-world craftsmanship and new-world innovation. Today, more than 120 years later, Bulova is one of the worlds most recognized brands. As the company prospered, American radio and television ads boasted, "America runs on Bulova time." In the 1950s, Bulova brought the world Accutron, the first electronic watch (it was the first breakthrough in advancing the technology of time in over 300 years). NASA later reaped the benefit of Accutron's timing mechanism using an adapted version for its computers. Bulova timepieces have kept time for the United States president aboard the famed Air Force One, and have been utilized as official timepieces for American Olympic teams.

Quality Product, Quality Customer Service

The watch was out of stock when originally ordered. Customer Service was very proactive in making sure I was aware when the next shipment was expected and even called me to make sure I still wanted the watch before processing my order. I have never been to any jeweler whose customer service can compare to Blue Nile's. That is what keeps me coming back. The watch itself, is gorgeous, classic. The band can be adjusted down from about 9" to fit you perfectly. My husband sized mine with a screwdriver from a eyeglass repair kit. Piece of cake.
