Simply wonderful!

This pendant is beautiful. I had ordered the cushion cut pendant for my wife, loved it so much that I ordered the asscher cut for her mom. I have purchased quite a bit of jewelry over the past 25 years, mostly from Fortunoff, and have become very familiar with diamond quality, workmanship and service. Blue Nile stands for all these things.I cannot thank you enough!

Love the diamond, not the chain

The diamond is stunning, and while I love this pendant, I had to give it 4 rather than 5 stars because of the quality of the chain. I expected the chain to be a little more substantial, and it is attached to the diamond mount simply by soldering one of the tiny chain links to each side of the mounting. I may be proved wrong, but I fear it may break easily - and am considering going to the expense of having a jeweler replace the chain and re-solder. Other than this, it is a stunning pendant, brilliant diamond, and minimal modern setting that is so versatile.
